What is L’Eroica?
L’Eroica (meaning “The Heroic”) began in 1997 to celebrate the golden era of cycling. Participants ride vintage bicycles, wear wool jerseys, and follow unpaved “strade bianche” through the Chianti hills. It’s not just a race — it’s a tribute to the past, and a celebration of effort, elegance, and grit.
The Eroica Classica 2025: More Than a Ride
This year’s event offers several route options — from 46 km to an epic 209 km — each taking you through rolling vineyards, medieval towns, and panoramic countryside. Whether you’re riding or spectating, the atmosphere is vibrant and deeply emotional, with cyclists from around the world united by a love for authentic cycling.
